LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) -- Although it's very definitely a sequel to the battle between werewolves and vampires, the "Underworld" sequel probably won't be called "Underworld 2," says the film's producer Tom Rosenberg.
"We may call it something else," says the producer, while doing press for "Wicker Park." "We'll probably call it something with 'Underworld 2.' "
Like "Resident Evil: Apocalypse," which is essentially "Resident Evil 2," Rosenberg says the script to the horror-action sequel is complete, and has a more interesting story than the first one, which stars Kate Beckinsale as the vampire Selene, Bill Nighy as the vampire leader Viktor and Scott Speedman as Michael, who becomes a werewolf.
"It's very intricate. It gives Selene's history, and then Viktor's history," says Rosenberg, who is also executive-producing the sci fi film "Aeon Flux."
"It's much bigger action but still, we have to keep the coolness of it and not let the action overwhelm it," the producer adds. "I like the whole world that's created and you have to stay within that world."
At the moment, the "Untitled Underworld Sequel" is scheduled to start shooting in November and will bring back the original stars.
